Green Capital is Australia’s leading independent business sustainability program, offering forums, cutting-edge research, policy development, stakeholder engagement and networking opportunities for our members.
Established in 2002 by one of Australia’s oldest and most innovative environmental groups, the Total Environment Centre, Green Capital acts as a hub for business, government and civil society to debate and drive progress towards a sustainable economy and society. Over 17,000 representatives of businesses, government departments and NGOs have participated in Green Capital’s program, tackling the big sustainability issues of the 21st century, from carbon markets to the rise of renewables, greenwash to credible green marketing, waste to the reuse economy, and corporate social responsibility to mainstream ‘green economy’ transformation. Decisions made today are shaping tomorrow’s world, and business, civil society and governments all need to engage.
